My Words of Love to You
Dearest Sisters Of The Golden Moon,
I would like to speak some Words Of Love to you.
Love is spoken daily but have you ever noticed that love is shown more than spoken?
We show a friend and sister of this group we all belong to, love, by answering her
emails promptly, reaching out to her in her and our times of need, send eachother cyber gifts, we pass on
forwards to each other as well, ones that speak of friendship and love, but have we
ever really taken the time to actually tell eachother, I love you?
We hug our husbands or boyfriends, go out of our way to look good for him for a
date or special occasion, buy him small tokens to show him our love and yes occassionally tell him we love him, but do we tell him daily?
Do you remember how it was in the beginning, when sight of him, took your breath
away. You'd lie awake for hours at night, talking and whispering I love you in the
dark to him. You'd send him love letters, words of love and he would you too.
Times change though and over the years you forget why you got with him in the first
place. You rush about your daily routine in haste. Pass him in the hall. Tell him
"love you" with a quick peck. You don't seem to find time anymore, to hold him
tight, look him straight in the eyes and say I love you.
We hug our children, spoil them with toys and games that we really can't afford, treat them to a sundae, buy them the best that we can afford, but how often do we just sit them down, hold them close and tell them we love them? That we are proud of
them? How often do you really listen to them? Their hopes, dreams, fears?
There are so many people in our lives who we love, but just how often do we tell
them? Speak those 3 little words outloud to them? Speak to them words of love?
Those words should not just be reserved for a lover in passing, or your child, or
your Mother or Father, they should be spoken daily to all we meet and who touch
our life.
If love were given more freely, peace would abound, not only here in each of our
neighborhoods and towns, but worldwide. Ahhh if only...if only in a perfect world.
Of course we don't live in a perfect world.
We can effect the lives around us though. Speak more words of love. Speak love not
hate. When we speak, let others hear our smile. Let them feel our love and humanity. Let us not just just show our love, but speak words of love to all.
I love all of you Dear Sisters. I am blessed by your presence in my life. I am
thankful for all of you, each of you, even those of you I have not met or had a
chance to speak to, via our group.
I love you our dear Founders of Sisters Of The Golden Moon. For bringing us all
together. I love your spirit. I love your strength. I love the sisterhood you have forged amoung us.
May we all continue to draw strength from eachother. We all come from different parts of this Earth. We are all diverse and can enrich eachothers lives with our diversity. May our spirit always be as one. May each of us be blessed daily by eachother. May love abound amoung us. May each of our lives be enriched because of eachother.
I love all of you.
In sisterhood and with love, your Sister Of The Golden Moon
